This 18 m tali outlook-tower is made of stone. As it was built in 1898 by the German tourist dub MSSGV (division Zuckmantel-Zlaté Hory) on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the rule of the emperor Franz Josef l. it is considered to be the oldest outlook-tower in the Jeseníky Mountains. It has replaced the former wooden view-tower from 1890 (by the same architects) where the first post Office was established within the Moravian territory (1896). After being repaired by the town of Zlaté Hory it was open to public again (on 3rd August 1996). Near the outlook-tower there is the tourist bordercrossing on the tourist path.
