Rocks at Besedice (Semily a Podkrkonoší)

The rock maze Besedice is situated upon Malá Skála. Many rock towers and boulders are divided by labyrinth of ravines, passages and caves. There are several viewpoints there with amazing outlooks. On the opposite rocky ridge we can visit the ruins of the medieval Zbirohy castle. One of the mains part of the rock maze is labyrinth called Chléviště.
In the ages of religious persecution many Czech Brethren found the hiding place there. As they had the chalice as their emblem, one part of rock maze with chizeled altar is called Kalich (Chalice).
