Reconstructed remains of a Gothic fort from the 14th century are a part of a unique fortified village. The fort was reconstructed in the Renaissance style in the late 16th century, in the 18th century it was abandoned and left to decay. In the 20th century it was adapted for a museum - aside from history of the fort and village, visitors can learn more about traditional South Bohemian painted furniture.
