Vrchmezí (1084 m) is situated in the northern part of main ridge of Eagle mountains. It was also called Humeničnej vrch. Today?s name originates in 17th century. At the Silesian side of mountain there had been the Rybář´s cottage with view-tower, but it burned out in 1946. Under the top of the mountain you can see the nature preserve called Pod Vrchmezím, which is characterized by woods with many rare plants.
