Castle Rokštejn (Českomoravská vrchovina)

A massive ruin of a Gothic castle Rokštejn lies 8 km from Brtnice, in the romantic valley of the Brtnice River. The castle was burnt and demolished in the 15th century. All that is left today are its square-shaped tower, gallery, and the remains of some of the walls of the castle's former living quarters. The area around Rokštejn is a favorite place for hiking.
