Lookout Tower Velký Blaník (Okolí Prahy - jih)

Covered wooden tower Blaník is situated 638 m above sea level. It was built in 1941 in the form of a Hussite watchtower. It is 29,5 m high and owes to the Czech Tourist Club. Its peak offers a lovely view of the Central Bohemian region. Hill Blaník is known as the home of the Knights of Blanik, who dwelt within it.
