Castle Blovice (Plzeňsko)

Blovice chateau is situated on the site of a former fort. It was built in 1705 and in year 1873 it was rebuilt into its present pseudo-Gothic style. The chateau is surrounded by an English park with old trees. There is also a Baroque St. Cross group sculpture from 1727 by F. Thürmer in the park and a farmstead from 1812. It houses a permanent exhibition of Blovice Museum.
