Chain Bridge - Stádlec (Táborsko)

The only preserved chain bridge in the Czech Republic is a technical landmark. Before the Orlík reservoir has been filled, this bridge stood 18 km west on the Moldau River. To preserve the bridge for next generations, in 1974 it was disassembled on individual stone blocks and iron parts, transported and assembled again across the Lužnice River near Stádlec. The bridge is still being used for cars.
