Former Jewish Synagogue in Třešť (Českomoravská vrchovina)

A great fire in 1824 destroyed the original Jewish ghetto in Třešť. Thanks to collections and support of a Jew Jicchak Wiesenwald it the Empire synagogue was restored and consecrated in 1825.
Nowadays the synagogue serves as a church of Czechoslovak Hussite Church. Inside the synagogue you can visit an exhibition Franz Kafka and Třešť with many documents describing the history of Třešť Jewish community.
