The river rises in the Beskydy Mountains. Bečva is passable all the year. The difficulty is marked ZW ? WW I (II). It is suitable for the recreation and middle advanced water sportsmen.

The voyage downstream the river takes 2 ? 3 days.
The river?s stream is 61,2 km long.
