The river rises in the Labská louka (Labe´s Meadow) in the Giant Mountains. Labe is passable form April to the end of Mai in the upper reaches and middle stream. The difficulty is marked ZW ? WW IV-V. The upper stream is recommended for advanced water sportsmen, the middle stream and the down river is suitable also for the recreation water sportsmen.

The voyage downstream the river depends on the chosen stages.
The river?s stream is 358, 3 km long.
