Čapská palice near Dubá (Českolipsko)

The massive stone cudgel Čapská palice was formed by different erosion rates of dissimilar minerals. It protrudes from a rock promontory, which provides magnificent vista of wide surroundings. It was surely valued also by ancient inhabitants - defenders of a destroyed redoubt, which is now commemorated only by a cellar cut to the stone. It is situated near Tuhaň.
