The old house from the 17th century was rebuilt in the 2nd half of the 18th century into a garden summer-mainson in the Classical style. In the year 1787 on the occasion of the Prague premiere of the opera "Don Giovanni" and again in the year 1791, W. A. Mozart stayed here as the Dušeks? guest. Don Giovanni was composed expressly for Prague and produced in world premiere at the Estates Theatre in October 1787.
W.A. Mozart composed here also his areas for Mrs. Josefína Dušek. In the exposition you can see well-preserved interiors of the period. The exhibition at the museum is dedicated to Mozart, his work, and the Dušeks. In the summer the serenades are played in the garden.
