The Dlask's farm in Dolánky near Turnov is one of the most beautiful and also most typical examples of the Czech rural timbered architecture. The former franklin farmhouse was built in the year 1716 in a picturesque valley of the Jizera River. Since its beginnings, the object has gone through numerous structural modifications, the most extensive of which were carried out in the years 1794 and 1841. The farm now consists of a two-storied residential building surrounded by a timber barrier. The timbered barn is a reminder of the original buildings in the place. The statue of St. Mary the Virgin of the year1784 and a two-storied timbered grange transferred here from Malý Rohozec are also part of the farmstead.
The Dlask's farm architecture was very important in the time of the end of the 19th century. The beauty of the traditional customs and the result of the ordinary people's inventiveness were demonstrated just at its example. The Dlask's farm is a part of the Bohemian Paradise district museum nowadays. Shows of the national craftsmanship and folklore mainly of the Jizera region are held there.
