Lookout Tower Kleť (Český Krumlov a Kaplicko)

Adresa:

Křemže

Hill Kleť (1084 m) is the highest mountain of the Protected Landscape Area Blanský Les (Blansko Forest). It lies about 7 km to the northwest of Český Krumlov. On the top there is a stone observation tower, which was built in 1825. It is the oldest one in Bohemia and it offers nice views of the surroundings and of the Novohradské Mountains and Šumava (Bohemian Forest). There is also the highest located sundial in Bohemia. The observatory and the planetarium stand not far from the peak too and the nature reserve of the same name lies northwest of the peak. To the top of Kleť you can get by chair-lift from village Krasetín.
