Gaus houses - it is a group of houses called after a merchant family who owned the complex at the turn of the 20th century. The most famous are the houses No. 236 and 237 and a bastion - a relic of the fortification system. In front of Gaus Houses, there used to stand Prague Gate that was pulled down in May 1884. It was the boundary between the old and new town. The whole block of houses reminds one of the late-Gothic styles used in Hussite Tabor.
