The complex of ecclesiastic buildings ranks among the most important monument of the late South Bohemian Gothic. The complex is dominated by the Pilgrimage Church of the Virgin Mary from the 14th century with late Gothic chambered two aisles vaulted with tracery-starred vault. There is the remarkable Madonna of Kájov from before 1520 in the church. Through the sacristy, the church is connected to the early Gothic Chapel of the Virgin Mary Expiry from the late 13th century. Another building within the complex is a Baroque presbytery from 1661, with the built-in Chapel of St. John of Nepomuk from 1699 and a cemetery chapel with a charnel house from 1752. The presbytery building houses a small museum today.
