Jewish Ghetto and Synagogue - Kolín (Kutnohorsko)

Kolín used to be an important center of Jewish culture and education. The Jewish settlement there dates back to the 14th century. The ghetto was located in the southwest part of the city. The synagogue was built in a courtyard and has a preserved Baroque aron-ha-kodesh and stucco decorations.
